Dr Ayo is a GP of many years experience, who relocated to Bundaberg from Mackay in 2017. Dr Ayo and his family are now calling Bundaberg home, joining the team of quality GP’s with Burnett Medical, as the new Practice Principal. Dr Ayo provides excellent family medicine and has a special interest in skin and other procedures. Dr Ayo is also an accredited G.P. Trainee Supervisor.

Dr I. Eletu attended one of the most prestigious private medical universities in Nigeria where he graduated in 2011. He has extensive background medical practice experience in Emergency Medicine involving hospitals in his home country, the U.K. and Australia. He was under the employ of Bundaberg Hospital before joining our practice. He has an inclination towards mental health, geriatrics paediatrics and skin lesions management.

Dr Isiri Upeksha Abeydheera is a General Practitioner originally from Sri Lanka who completed her medical degree in China. She has over seven years of experience working as a GP in Sri Lanka and is now practising in Bundaberg, Australia. Dr Isiri enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests in women’s health and paediatrics. She is committed to providing compassionate, personalised healthcare tailored to the needs of individuals and families.

Dr Supuni obtained her MBBS degree from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. She has five years of postgraduate clinical experience, with hands-on training in acute medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, obstetrics, and family medicine. Dr Supuni has a special interest in women’s health, mental health, and chronic disease management, and is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care to patients at all stages of life.

Dr Chiamaka Beauty Nwuba is a dedicated medical practitioner at Burnett Medical Centre with a strong background in clinical medicine and public health. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria and later earned a master’s degree in health planning and management from the University of Maiduguri. Dr Beauty has worked as a Medical Officer in Nigeria and at Bundaberg Base Hospital, gaining extensive experience in a range of clinical environments. Her special interests include children’s health, women’s and reproductive health, mental health, and the management of chronic medical conditions. She is committed to delivering empathetic, high-quality care and supporting the long-term wellbeing of individuals and families within the community.
